37 Proofs The Earth Is Not A Globe
Tape Projects will overrun 6a Gallery in July with an exhibition of experiments, participatory interventions and disputable evidence that form part of their current Next Wave Kickstart interdisciplinary collaboration for “100 Proofs the Earth Is Not a Globe". Taking its point of departure from the historical belief in a flat earth, 37 Proofs The Earth Is Not A Globe looks at notions of illusion and truth and the tensions between belief, conformity and fundamentalism. Tape Projects is a Melbourne-based collective of artists who collaborate, curate and create. TAPR artists are: Michael Prior, Zoe Scoglio, Jessie Scott, Lee Anatawat, Nic Whyte, Tanja Milbourne and Eugenia Lim.
